Brooklyn market report
Brooklyn moves block by block, so we work from building-level data rather than a borough median.
If you are buying
What this means for you
- OneKey MLS publishes monthly Brooklyn county statistics, but a borough median is close to useless here: brownstone Park Slope, waterfront new construction, and Ditmas Park are not one market.
- For context, across the whole OneKey service area co-op medians were $316,575 and condo medians $580,000 in August 2026, up 5.5% and 7.4% year over year.
- What actually decides your purchase is the specific building: co-op board requirements, financials, flip taxes, and the offering plan for a condo. We read those with you.
If you are selling
What this means for you
- Pricing here comes from comparable sales in your building and the few blocks around it, not from a borough figure.
- Co-op and condo buyers are financing-sensitive and board-sensitive. Preparing the package early keeps a deal from dying in review.
Rather than publish a borough number that would mislead you, we will pull the current closed sales for your specific building or blocks on request.

“A county median is a starting point. Your street is the answer.”
